Tis’ the Season to Dress Haute and Jolly!

YES! It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas and dressing for the holiday parties and all other festivities need to be dress to the nines. I have personally always loves Christmas and in essence how it makes you feel. Fashion of course, will be trimmed with sequins, warm colors and great dresses. Dresses are my favorite category in apparel so its just second nature for my to gravitate to look for the great designs that plus designers have to offer this season to. The trends that are hitting the pavement this fall and holiday season allow for you to step out of the normality of the typical dress such as leather panels, bold colors, the never ending lace trend, midi cuts, peplums, jumpsuits, and many more. I’ve rounded of a few of my favorites that I would love to be hanging in my closet this season, hopefully this will give you a bit of a guide when you get caught off guard “gift shopping for others”!

Pant Suits and Jump Suits

Jumpsuits have forever been a classic trend that is year around and it no exception for the fall/ holiday season. Not every girl wants to rock a full on dress so here’s some great and unique styles that are still dressy and edgy. The peplum shown above, is a separate top and pant but can be easily be pulled off as a Jumpsuit. The jacquard printed peplum romper is a must have that you can definitely rock at any party. Last but certainly not least my favorite look is the emerald jumpsuit that I personally “have” to own! This is definitely not for the typical woman, but rather for the one who calls for eyes to be drawn to her when she enters the room!

Full Skirt Cocktail Dress

The 50’s style is a classic and of course a must for the holiday season. These cute little dresses are playful and have a new feel to them with color and prints this fall. Again, bold colors are definitely a must for the fashionista along with metallic colors, and prints. There is also a sheath dress shown here for the more modern girl.

Midi/ Sheath/ Body con

Every curvy girl needs that go to sexy dress and there’s always one to be found! The midi cut is a must trend that is on the rise with figure hugging cuts. Lace, velvet, sequins, and leather are all in the mix and I’m loving it. I just stopped and stared when I seen the Simply Bee body con sequin dress and said YASS! The sexiness is being served with a twist and will give you holiday cheer in any one of these dresses.

The pencil and full skirts are great the rock this holiday. Jibri was my favorite who kept it as fashion forward as I liked it with leather panels and full high waist skirts.

Maxi Dress

The long and the beautiful are set aside the the special occasion parties or just to bring in some dramatic flare, as I would do. I love all of these designs that show off a peek of your midriff, a little leg and cleavage. As you can see print color, unique cuts, velvet, and shimmer made the cut with these designs.
